Back 2 School

Well, it's that time of the year again. Time for school to start. Some of us have already started, some start in a couple of days. All of us Zumwalt people don't start 'till the 23rd. Any way you look at it, this time of year can be good and bad. Will start w/ the bad to get it out of the way. It means less hanging out w/ some friends. It can be very stressful w/ all the assignments and other things. Also it can be a hard place to be strong for Christ. However, that's where the good stuff comes in. As we experience life w/ people at school each day, we are given countless opportunities to be a light. I know for me I'm able to go on mission for God. I've been given the calling to use my position as senior class president to affect people. At this point, that means just listening to what Christ says and doing it. I don't know what that means for you in your situations, but just have an open heart for Christ. He'll let you know what to do. The responsibility is to obey. That's all we can do anyway. It's not us who does it. It's God. So here's to the new school year.

Band Camp

Yes, you've all heard the story, "And one time at band camp..." I know everyone thinks, "Those wierd band people. Freaks. Nerds." But, it's actually not like that at all. It's a lot of hard work. Marching drill and stuff for 9 HOURS a day is not easy. I have been able to work on my beautiful tan. But yeah, that's what I've been doing this week. So have a good week and I'll report again soon...
